Xiaomi: 200,000 vehicles delivered in record time

You will certainly be impressed that the Xiaomi has already exceeded the 200,000 vehicles delivered mark after less than a year in the automotive business. This is particularly remarkable when you consider that it only took the company 229 days to deliver the first 100,000 vehicles and only 119 days to deliver the next 100,000 vehicles. This not only shows the enormous growth of the company, but also the increasing demand for its products.

The 200,000th vehicle, an SU7 saloon in magenta, has just been successfully delivered. In addition to this success, the SU7 Pro model for 2025 is also almost sold out, which indicates a strong market for Xiaomi ‘s products and raises your expectations for future innovations and deliveries.

For us in Germany, however, this is a disadvantage. Xiaomi can no longer keep up with demand, so expansion to other markets will not be possible until 2027 or 2028. The manufacturer is also aiming for Germany as a target market. For manufacturers such as Porsche, BMW, Mercedes or Audi, this will make things difficult. Tesla can still keep up well, however, as the US manufacturer is also impressing with excellent sales figures in China.

Model details and variants

Currently, Xiaomi only sells the SU7 Sedan, which was launched in three variants – Standard, Pro and Max – on March 28, 2024. Deliveries of the Standard and Max versions began in April 2024, while the Pro version followed in May 2024. In addition, a fourth version, the SU7 Ultra, was launched at the beginning of March 2024 as a performance model that offers additional features.

The Xiaomi SU7 launches in China at a price of 215,900 yuan (approx. 29,830 US dollars) and offers an impressive CLTC range of 700 km thanks to a 73.6 kWh battery from BYD. Equipped with a 220 kW electric motor on the rear axle, you can benefit from a powerful yet efficient driving style, making the model extremely attractive for both everyday journeys and longer trips.

Xiaomi delivers e-car in record time

The company has delivered a total of 200,000 vehicles, with the decisive moment being celebrated with the delivery of the 200,000th vehicle, the SU7 saloon, in magenta. These impressive figures not only show the growth of Xiaomi in the automotive market, but also the strong interest of customers in this new product.

In the timeline of deliveries, it is remarkable that Xiaomi only needed 229 days for the first 100,000 vehicle deliveries, while the company only needed 119 days for the next batch of another 100,000 vehicles. This indicates increasing efficiency and demand, which suggests that the products from Xiaomi are being well received on the market.
